Now’s your chance to own a piece of history. To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, a trove of artifacts from the ship are being auctioned off in New York.
Premier Exhibitions Inc. announced that auction house Guernsey’s will sell more than 5,500 salvaged items — including fine china, ship fittings and pieces from the hull — owned by RMS Titanic Inc.
The sale begins April 1, and results will be announced on April 15, the date of the shipwreck.
