D.I.Y.Craft: Confetti Dish Towel

Craft Of The Day: Make A Drab Dish Towel A Party Starter
You'll Need:
Flour sack dish towels (like these from
Walmart)
Craft paint
Cardboard
Fabric medium (like
Liquitex from Blick)
Paint mixing sticks
Round foam sponges

How to Make It:
1. Add one part fabric medium to two parts craft paint in a bowl and mix together. Do this with all the colors you'd like to use.
2. Lay the dish towel out flat on a clean surface.
3. Dip round foam sponges in the sizes of your choice, in the various paint colors and dab them on the dish towel, layering small dots over larger ones to give it the appearance of scattered confetti.
4. Allow the towels to dry overnight, heat set them and then wash before using.
